Hi,

Does is anyone here a member of the above club? Or know anyone who is? I'm trying to get in contact with them regarding membership - but their email box is full and I have no other contact details...

TIA,

Rich.

Maybe try asking on Living History.co.uk too.
A lot of re-enactors hang out there and someone might know more.

It's one of the few clubs around here that I haven't visited yet. I know a few of the folks. They seem like nice people.

If you've got specific questions you could always try the NFAS web board...

Thanks guys - their shooting ground is only 5 mins walk from me in my local woods and I really want to get on with my archery this year - i'm rubbish! :D

I can't post on the NFAS webboard - I'm not a member (no membership number). I'll give 'em a call on the numbers Bent Stick found on the NFAS site. :thanks:

Quick update!

Thanks to everyone who replied - I've spoken to Dave Lobb, the chairman and I've been invited to meet them this coming Sunday at their shooting ground. SWMBO wants to know why I've got a cheshire cat grin on! :D

Hopefully I'll be in the market for a nice secondhand bow soon.

Rarely miss one of their shoots

They had some good news recently with archery overcoming football

Plenty of good people there - you could say Hi, to Leo if he's around. A Frenchman, sadly, but does some beautiful quivers using leather and wood

Then there's Jim, Norm, Brian .... ah, you'll meet them all soon enough

And those 3D grabbers of Bobs are the best piles I've used

Sadly, Spurs have re-submitted their application and we're back to fending them off our green belt counryside and woodland again... :(
