yippee i made my first feather sticks today and got the camp fire alite first time with them just in time for breakfast after my first camp out for the holiday's and my dad said they were realy good

My feather sticks looked more like the scales on a road kill rattlesnake until Mors Kochanski's book explained using the forward sweep of my scandi knife. I was so proud of my new efforts. Then I saw a programme about folk art and this carver who whittled birds with these incredibly long tails using the same stroke. :***:
