I think I saw one down in Sussex this year. I heard it a cuckoo'n and then saw something fly off to another group of trees and the cuckoo'n also moved.

If it’s got cuckoo feathers like a cuckoo and it cuckoos like a cuckoo …….. well maybe …….

We hadn't had any for a number of years and then they were back 2023. I got up for the dawn chorus (on dawn chorus day) down in our wood and for the first time had a cuckoo in the wood
