Spot on, that is the canned Haggis we can buy here!

I wonder if the people making those know there are people here in the Caribbean eating their product with great enjoyment and true happiness?
Cutting the exotic flavor from all that Jerk, fried fish, Mannish soup, curried goat and conch ceviche we devour, with some Haggis made from real Scots?

Tinned macaroni cheese... yuck.. must say it's the worst thing ever.. just my personal taste buds opinion. Now idaho mash potato that's a different story. I just discovered that a couple of weeks ago . Love the cheesy version. I have several packets in my winter stores now tho must say expensive compared to own brands that I normally use. Worth it though.

Bacon grill is on my list! along with spam, ham, meatballs, frank sausages, all day breakfast, every kind of soup and stew, tinned milk, pud's, pea's an sweet corn. and if I can get it now I know its in cans also haggis! all for the the winter store, which is meat....meat.....Um soup!.....an yeh meat!

Cassoulet - the classic peasant dish from the South West of France. Beans with sausage and duck in a tomato based sauce. Just beat and serve. We carry several fans in the van as backup but easily find an excuse to open one. Ideal after a long day with a lump of bread and a glass of vin du pays. William Saurin is our favourite brand.

Not suitable for backpacking, but then few tinned foods are in my opinion.

Damned predictive text! However, our van is well ventilated fortunately and we do have a fan as well!

Do you remember the Heinz advertising campaign which had posters carrying the words " beanz meanz " followed by a blank? Overnight almost all had "fartz" filling the blank. It was a short-lived campaign .

Lidl do a tin of chopped pork and ham. Its the same size/shape and basically the same flavour as their bacon grill but has a higher meat content.

Same price too i'm sure.

Tinned fruit and tinned condensed milk, served with hot chocolate is a fantastic desert.

I'd say beer. No heating required. Excellent taste. Rich in vitamin B
