The lesson learned, is to check tents before I buy.

Still, this one was only for bits....

The fly is nylon, any idea as the best way to clean? I intend making a tarp of it

I had one that went that way, it just shredded itself and I hadn't done anything to cause the fabric to split. I think it was UV damage.

Believe it or not the washing machine is a good idea for cleaning the useable bits. Then peg it out to dry and reproof as needed.
