Several full time commercial construction jobs just popped up, East of my place at the Terracana Resort.
Not quite as isolated as they make it sound. Valemount and Jasper to the east, McBride and Prince George to the west.
Driving HWY 16 at night in the winter is for emergencies only. Plus all the wilderness you can stand.

I'm uncertain what it takes for UK people to work in Canada for even a year.
However, there are lots of jobs go wanting in the smaller towns and villages.
See if you can get into the job postings for the village of Valemount, BC.
There's new stuff every week. The Master Plan for Valemount Glacier Destinations has gov't approval.
Once the permitting swamp has been crossed, there will be tons of alpine construction jobs.
Biggest vertiical drop in North America. Fully built out, 6,300 rooms.
Would seem to me to be ideal situations for anybody with the slightest interest in bushcraft.
