Waiting to escape
So after waiting patiently, my Poppin Storm Kettle from Eydon Kettles turned up.

It looks, like new old stock as handle had galvanised metal fluff / rust spot, I've cleaned off and sent an email as John was helpful via email previously. A handle is cheap enough spare or I could fashion another if needs be.
There is one spot in fire bowl with no power coat and I suspect how it is held to powder coat it.
My understanding with this is small family company, decades plus enjoyment/ memories money can't buy - from a 1.6 ltr storm kettle and the durability
Now onto the fun part, due to its 1.5 pint capacity I wondered about fueling it, I used plain cardboard strips as small dry twigs in short supply.
I started slowly as I, wanted to season the powder coat. I think it will be great for walking / hiking etc think I may try a fabric or similar organiser in jute bag.

I'm after locking together during camping cups and better weather

What a nice thing that is, and great for being built by a small UK firm. Prices aren’t ridiculous either, I was eying up the Popular. A want but not need though.

I had one of the original Kelly’s for many years, ideal for work as a tree surgeon. When SSE brought in a ‘no gas stoves’ rule after a couple of linesman brewed up in their Landy with the windows shut and nearly died from CO, it was the only thing we were able to use for heating water. A great morale booster when working on powerlines in the snow and cold. I had an Emberlit wood stove too, for the lunchtime sossies. :)

I’ve just bought a flat pack Lixada because I have an 8yr old step grandson who showed an interest in my Polymath Spitfire fire kit, which are amazing value and ever so rewarding for youngsters to use. I’m looking forward to a sooty pan bottom and smoky clothes again.

I've made a storage system the
Base 2 double layer
Outside is double and opened at one corner- so it will pull in and out to wash bag.

The centre division is c shaped and removable - by pulling ends. This locks kettle in until accessories removed.
There is a flap and bottom compartment has grills,
Then pots and a divider with handle and fire rod.
Top lid has lip to hold it in place.

Double sided carpet tape and grain of plastic 90 degree makes it solid and light.

About £6 materials and spare, stopped it all chaffing as we hike
