Exploding coffee mug

I had a problem with a travel mug, and found out in the same way. Turns out water was getting inside the gap between the plastic outer and metal inner, while in the dishwasher, and adding a hot liquid caused a pressure build up.

mee too, but it only cracked the plastic.

bomb proof, including the handle, no cheap plastic.

Mmmmm, if only they made them from titanium.

For me it's usually a cup of coffee that sets off explosions elsewhere in the morning..

Not that cheap and pretty much all the insulated containers I've seen or have are made in China, any made in the UK these days?

Sue them? Have we all gone American all of a sudden? Claim culture overkill.

Just tell them its a problem and get a refund for whatever was damaged.
