etsy - anyone use them?

Seen a couple of items on there that I like but before I sign up are they safe/reputable

Is there buyer protection?

have used it to sell a number of items over the years, completely hassle free, no issues at all and much cheaper than another auction site.

I've had good experience hen I used them. If you see something you like you can always click on the customer reviews for that particular seller

I sell a fair bit through Etsy. It's a little like eBay but for makers, so check out the reviews on each shop/seller

My apologies. I misread the OP. I thought the question was for Ebay. I have no experience with etsy.

Both my wife and I have bought numerous things on Etsy and never had any problems with either sellers or the site itself. I wouldn't hesitate to buy on Etsy after one quick check on the sellers feedback. You pay with Paypal so you should be covered in the unlikely event of things going south.
