Thinking of investing in one of these knives.

Anyone got experience of both?

Which would folk recommend or are there other similar knives out there to consider?

Many Thanks

the izula-2 is a very sweet little knife, with emphasis on little.

its very compact, can do a lot of stuff, relatively strong, but if i'm bringing a fixed blade, i'll just as well bring something a bit bigger.
i think it really shines as an survival kit knife, or as an heavy duty, fixed blade pocket knife for the tough jobs.

haven't tried the -3 yet

here it is compared to a spyderco tenacious, which has a 8,5cm blade.
i can take a picture with more normal bushcraft knives such as an fällkniven f1, various scandis etc, in 3 hours if you want.

as you can see it has full four finger grip, but somewhat smaller blade than many "bushcrafty" knives.
you never said what you intended using it for, but for a general outdoors knife, i'd rather go for a 8-10cm+ blade.

Cheers mate, thats really useful

I'm after a knife for general camp chores but could be pushed to bigger tasks if needed

Anyone got some comparative shots with a RC 3?
Thanks

Drew
