Never been too keen on puffball unless it's soaked in the flavour of something else, which kindof defeats the point of eating it for me!

Nice haul!

Only found little puffballs so far this year, and all to close to dog walking territory for me to bother with; not seen any other edible mushrooms yet...I suspect I'm just not getting up early enough lol

That's a beast of a puffball, my best was about the size of an orange.

I found one this weekend as it happens; hadn't seen one in years and this was about 2/3rd the size of a football.
