I found this, somewhat poignant, little photo story on the BBC about England's last remaining traditional oak-bark tannery, Baker's in Devon: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-14442109.

They featured in a short spot in The Edwardian Farm, but it's good to hear from the owner that there's still sufficient demand for their leather for them to keep going. I hope so, beause it's where all the leather for my hand-made belts comes from.
