I had a play with my new toys last night and made the following observations (in no particular order):

- Saracen is ENORMOUS. It dwarfs my PLCE bergan.
- Both packs DO NOT have the same back system: that on the Saracen is much bigger and sturdier.
- LA side pockets are not as generous as PLCE ones (not quite as fat).
- Saracen has a proper back system that makes it uncomfortable over webbing (though my webbing is very "back heavy").
- Although there's no clips for attaching the side pockets, there are loops on the pocket's back that seem to align with the side straps on Strike/Sting/Saracen for a more secure carry.
