You got a real bargain. The Schrade factory closed its doors last Summer and the prices of the remaining stock have been increasing despite the flood of items being offered on E-Bay.
If the knife came with the original printed box and warranty I would give serious consideration to putting it in a safe place and seeing what it will fetch in a few years time.

Guess I sold my USA made ones too soon then. I sold them both because I thought the quality wasn't very good, oh well.
