Have any of you used the Dutch Army Bivi, modded by Endicotts with a zip and flap? I'm currently using a British Army one which is fine, but I'd prefer a zip to aid getting in and out, particularly for those 3am "nature calls" in the snow!

I've read it was good but the flap and zip could comprehend its waterproofness..specifically if the bag is on the wrong angle.

I'm looking for a British army bivi bag in good conditon atm so if you find something else and want a trade let me know! ;)

If your pretty handy with a sewing machine or know someone who is, its not too difficult to add a zip to the British bivi, I got a waterproof zip of the net, so no need for the flap, especially if used with a tarp

Yep the zip helps Andy.

I like it for ease of getting in and out, for nature calling I have a pee bottle to hand.;)

i just got one of these and im looking for a pole to make the hoop anyone know how long the pole needs to be and where i can get one from ???
