Dutch 3-1 parka????

I've been looking at the dutch 3-1 parka on Military Mart. Looks good for just about any conditions so I'm considering getting it. What do you think?

i had one of them for work once. it lasted pretty well and was fairly waterproof, only coming through after a few hours of rain

I've used a fair bit of Dutch surplus over the years and have always found it very good indeed; just had a look at your linky and I don't think you can go far wrong at that price; tell us how it is if you buy one :-

On second thoughts, I listened to my dad's advice to layer up so will get the British army smock

Good bit of kit!!
It beets the UK issue smock hands down, as it is a modular system, which means if it's raining you still have full access to your pockets whilst the gortex keeps you dry and also can be taken on and off in a oner, rather than as single items. I'm inclined to get one myself! 👍
