I had a look at this today, the whole package is superbly made and the fit and finish on the knife and sheath were absolutely flawless. You do produce some very well made knives Duncan. (I dont like the glow in the dark stuff)

Thanks i guess Red popped round :)
Stu M said the grinds where quite nice at the Knife show when i showed him :D

now waiting some RWL 34 for another go ;)

Bumped into the man in Budgens on my way home from the ranch so thought you might like his opinion as well :)

I must say the knife is really good. I'm not one for neck carry but the tek lok gives all sorts of choices. The small design would really lend itself to being carried in a thigh pocket of cargos. Fit and finish are flawless and, whilst I never envisaged a scaled down version, the design works possibly better than the original. As well as a handy bushy carry option, I reckon it would be superb as a bunny / bird / trout type knife

Well now - Duncan was kind enough to send this little beauty over for my thoughts

Lets have some establishing shots first against the original PFK

It makes for a really handy little package

I don't thing those photos show how small the knife is. Here it is in hand

A good sense of scale is against a SAK camper

This is a rubbish photo, but it shows the knife, in sheath, slipped into a single mag pouch inside the leg pocket of my 5.11 cargos. This is almost certainly how I would actually carry it - very discrete

So does it work?

Well - lets get it out

Then make a feather stick

My thoughts? I'll be sad to send it back :( This knife in its current guise would be a perfect bird, trout and small game knife and, to be honest, all the knife I would need for bushcraft in the UK. With its carbon fibre handle and kydex sheath itl'll be dead easy to keep clean too.

In my view, Duncan's best work yet
