Drying flies

Just a quick one folks!

Which fungi is used to dry fishing flies!

I know it is one of the brackets, but which one (Cant for the life of me remember)

Also is there any prep needed?

I think it needs to be beaten and prepared with saltpetre to make it hydrophilic.

This ones on my to-do list as well...
