Dragonfly Ident Help (Picc)

Can't find this in my Wildlife guide and I dont have a specialist insect book (may have to remedy that). It looks close to some of the darters (female common?)but I'm far from sure...

No probs - thats either a tiny dragonfly or a huge golf ball

lol. it was sunning itself on a stray football at my work actually. its possibly the easiest dragonfly photo ever.

I think you're right red, they both look like female common darters.

I was pleased with the snap since I had a 400mm lens on at the time rather than a proper Macro so its nice to be sure what it is
