I'm posting this here hoping that those forum members who knew him will see it.

Ian (Monarch) has just phoned me to tell me that Donagh has died; very suddenly, and at home. No other details yet about the funeral.

I know he was a member here, but I cannot remember what User Name he joined under.
If any of you do remember, will you please let me know ?

A big fellow; long and tall, a wealth of knowledge always good company, even when the field was knee deep in mud. Life was never boring around him
Deepest sympathies to his daughters and their famiies.
We're going to miss him

Oh dear, how sad I didn't know him either, but I'm thinking of his family at this time

I knew him, sat round the campfire with him and drank mead many a time. He will be missed.
Donagh dressed like a Viking when in his character persona, but he also embraced the spirit of the Northmen in real life too.
