Still totally agree with you, BUT, your dog is accustomed to it, mine isn't anymore. In the same way as it takes you a while to get used to the heat in a hot climate when you first arrive it's the same for cold - human or dog...

Not really. It all depends on the breed. My Malamute/Wolf would never, never, never have adapted to the heat here. On the other hand she would never have been uncomfortable i sub-zero (Farhenhiet) She loved it and thrived in it despite being a house dog.

Likewise my Boxer isn't great in the heat. On the other hand her ability in the cold is much as you describe; dependent on her conditioning.
