Does anyone know about clay pipes?

I know someone who carved one out of out native Serpentinite and as far as I know he's still using it.

Fascinating! When I was a student in the late 1960s, I was given a guided tour of an industrial pottery that was still using bottle kilns like the one in the film. It must have taken o lot of pipes to fill.

The other films look worth a look too, so many thanks dave0 for tracking down this little gem.
