Does anyone have a clue what this thing is supposed to be?

First off if this is in the wrong area I apologise. The only forum I could see about tools is for edged tools. Technically the multi tool does have a knife, but it isn't that which I'm puzzled over.
To describe it it would be like a flat-head screwdriver attachment with the middle cut out, leaving two (tiny) prongs. They aren't sharpened and the space between the prongs is bevelled inwards, but not enough to form an edge.
I've a picture here of it.

Anyone got any ideas?

It's a tack-puller, the device used by people refinishing stuffed chairs and what-not.
I have a couple of them, if I knew where I've hidden them on myself.
