DIY wool blanket shirt?

Hi guys n gals,
i did a quick search but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have a DIY wool blanket shirt?
I stumbled upon a wool blanket yesterday and it made me think about them.

I've already got a dutch army blanket but I'd not want to cut that one up!

The material is Ventile.

I found 2
One was 50p from acharity shop - double bed size .. OK it was Dayglo Orange when I bought it and I had to dye it to make the shirt and the lining of a gilet.
The second came from my Mother-in-law when she needed to downsize to go into a nursing home. That one was a nasty pale green which I dyed down to a dark bluey greeny grey. That one has so far made a pair of trousers and there is still loads left to play with when I get time!
