DIY Stove jack what fabric can you use ??

I have been looking at stove jacks to go onto a nylon tent theres loads for sale in the US but non in the UK .

What fabric could I buy in the UK to do the job? , will a fire blanket do the job?

siliconised fiberglass seems to be the material of choice when i was researching it.

I've used headgasket material which you can buy at some agricultural stores, or maybe at a tractor repairshop. Cheap as chips, but heavy. No problem for a cotton belltent though.
