I like the concept, I use an ipk sheet as a groundsheet and I will try your mod out. Could you post a picture of one of the corners opened out so I can see how the cuts are made?

I understand what you're saying but I'm questioning the need to make any cuts at all to achieve flat/bathtub versatility.

If you fold your corners in a manner akin to that used on the original 'Orikaso' plate/bowl...

you can have your groundsheet either way without cutting it. You may need to locate the press-studs slightly differently.

I used to make one just with clothes pegs. Folding the corners inwards but in a similar manner to the orikaso then clamping them together. Clingons may be better than pegs - which will then give you a means to stake it down.
