Argh, gutted, just bought this from Dave on here and have just got home to find my cooker has died. So i need to move the jacket on so i don't starve.
I've only worn the jacket once and it is as good as Dave says.

I'm going ask £150 inc postage

Here is Daves blurb on it.
SASS Ventile Smock, Modded.
My SASS Ventile Smock, modified with L24 'Earth' Ventile on the cuffs, around the hem, and on the inside where the drawstring pulls it tighter. These are the areas of wear, I identified, by examining other identical smocks which had frayed with excessive wear on those areas.

Size 180/104

The hood has an L24 Earth ventile flap, with buttons underneath it, to attach a real coyote fur ruff. Which works perfectly.

Its double skinned ventile hood, on the back, poachers pocket, mid arm elbow section. Its got a ziped inside pocket, and a D ring in the left front pocket.

Its in excellent condition.

Dont make them any more. Paul at SASS told me mine was the last one he had in, when I bought it.

Its only been hand washed lightly once.

Our cooker is on its last legs only one ring now works...
Unfortunately the kitchen was hand built around it (it was no deemed worthy of keeping by the last owner of our house so it was left to us as a "fitting" ..34 years ago...) and as it is only 45cm wide (a 3 ring Belling) we are going to have to move a wall (a stud wall we built 34 years ago) to make room for a modern 50 or 60cm cooker....losing room in our pantry/store room (which is half the size we need in the first place!) ...
You think you have it bad:lmao:
In other circumstances I would snatch up the smock in double quick time! :(

cheers for that Dave. much appreciated. Am so gutted i have to let this go, but needs must. i've survived without an oven for 4 years now, but the grill has now died and the hob is spluttering. shame, as i could cope without the oven, could do roasts and even make pies under the grill, but just the hob is tricky.

Well to save you having to sell it, I have a four ring gas cooker you can have if you can collect. Its currently got jets for lpg in it as there's no gas in our village, but I'm told its a simple task for a fitter to replace.
Its in good condition, but does need a clean, we have never used it, it was in here when we moved in in feb.

No pressure on you to accept & I won't be offended if you decline the offer.

Regards,

Rob
