Thanks Ivan, thats very kind of you mate!!Its really good to have a lurker , come out of the shadows and contribute to the thread , our little Dartmoor thing is not restricted in any way to existing members , or people that have been before etc etc .
So, jacko1066 ( Steve ) thanks for your comments , i understand of course Cambridge is a long way to come , when you don't know what you are letting yourself in for and don't know anyone , but as you can see we are a very friendly and lively bunch . True we may not take Bushcrafting too seriously , but we always have a great time .
Testament to the fact , that 2 newbies took the plunge for the last meet and enjoyed it so much they are coming again , to my mind thats exactly what it is all about .
Anyway , if ever there is a time that you feel the urge to , find time in your work schedule , and think sod it i will travel down for a nose , you , along with any other lurkers would always be more than welcome to come and try it out , its flexible enough that you can always come a few days early or leave a few days late , as i have control over the site annually . Anyway suffice to say one day " Come On Down "
