The only stove I've tested inside is an alcohol stove. I wouldn't dream of using my 'under construction' woodgas jobbie indoors. God knows how much carbon monoxide these things kick out.

Even cooking at home with normal gas stoves/boilers can be dangerous if you have not kept the vent pipes clean.
