Ha ha, I had an Adjutant once who banned this word, along with Sinage! She said the words didn't exist so we should use Tents or signs. She wan't particularly well liked I seem to remember, not sure why.
Ho ho we had an AO Lt we called Litty Haig on account of her stockings and lack of base layers.
Don't suppose she was partial to pink wafers with her pot of tea/coffee……...

No, but I could imagine her doing something like that. wrong Corps, but VERY funny. Incidentally that girl left very shortly afterwards, but received many really bad e-mails over it from serving senior officers who should've known better, so I hope she gets a boat load of compensation. It was all very badly handled.
