Croaking edible frogs.....

Thought you might like to hear some Edible frogs singing, (recorded this afternoon )There is a small pond just behind the hedge ( & fence) I couldn't get any nearer as it was on private land.

Unable to get any photos of them there for obvious reasons but I do have a few edible frogs who have taken up residence in a small sunken basin I leave for the birds & small mammals to drink & bathe in.

How do you make the them croak it?
Tastes like KFC. ( chicken, but not as you like it.)

Err.........that's edible as in what the english call rana esculenta & not as in eatable........ I like them too much to even think about eating them....

+1. Eating frogs is just wrong. No meat on them, and they are inherently likeable creatures (IMO). They also pest-devouring machines. And I think I just like amphibians for being a group of living fossils - it's astonishing that any of them managed to still be here.
