I used to do this every year in Wexford when I was younger. My family are from there and although we live in Scotland now we still have a house in Wexford town. The best way we found was using broken mussels on string from the quays in Wexford town. Although across the bridge was pretty good to. My old man has a share in a boat with my uncle and nowadays if I go there I just take the boat out to do a bit of fishing further out. Cant wait to take my own son crabbing and fishing there there, but that will be a few years though as he's only 15 weeks just now.

I grew up in Cheekpoint which is in Waterford across the estuary from Wexford and used to always fish for crabs as a kid too. Great fun!

I seem to recall there's a bit you must discard, a green sac or something, is that correct?
