Crab apple Vinegar

Ive done the first bit and strained out the apple bits. They smell a bit fermented but is there any other thing i can do with them?

I didnt chop all those silly little things just for vinegar!

Even a little fermented they make a lovely jam or jelly

I ought to have added that they make a superb chutney too, and if you break them down enough, you can make something very like HP sauce from them.

They certainly have gone very brown.
