Cow hide any ideas what to do ???

Hi folks,

Normaly before I make anything I have it all planned out before I start.

I was given this cow hide but as I had no plans for it , I seem to be stumped as to what I can turn it into. I dont want to make it into a rug or a belt

Any ideas ??

The measurement on the tape where I have it is just under 6ft to give you an idea of size.

Also as you can see there are a few bald spots but the rest of the hair is tight. ( The hide is over 15 yrs old and it is sheer coincidence that the farmers cows choose that moment to come and have a look lol).

Seriously though what about something like a batch of those three legged folding stools for camping.

I like the idea of possibles pouches too, like that idea a lot. Lucky fella getting donated that, nice one.

Unfortunate that it's 15 years old. If it were still rawhide I would say use it for the seat and back on a porch rocking chair. As it is likely tanned now I would recommend a vest or chaps.

Lol doing my car up like that is very tempting Biker,

Harvestman they wont stay still long enough.
