Cotton Webbing?

Does anyone know where to get hold of 2" cotton webbing in a browny colour (any shade)?

It's the sort of thing you find on any shoulder bag/ hunting satchel, but I can't find a supplier anywhere who'll sell anything other than plain white in 500m rolls

Come to think of it, would there be any interest in a group buy of the white stuff which could be dyed?

Similar, but cotton not polyprop. The cotton ones they do are either v-pattern for edging, or too narrow. If only it was as simple as searching on ebay or google!

It was worth a try .. i actually had that place bookmarked for one of the many projects that I never seem to get round to.

Would lamp wick work, or is that too narrow?

try a local upholsterer or do a search for cotton tape as sometimes it is in the wording.
