Thought id share some pics of some twine, line and rope plus the first two baskets I've made, its doubtful these pics will work.

Basketry, not the finest workmanship but perfectly functional for my first attempt

Nettle rope, roughly 1/4 inch diameter 3 ply 40 ft long took exactly 377 nettles to make

250ft 3 ply nettle netting twine with netting needle and 15 ft 1/4 inch nettle floatline. This is for a gill net but I need probably another 750 ft of twine which I'll have to make next year

Tope is 60ft 3 ply braided fish line on an elder reel, middle is the rope, centre is a swivel, bottom is 40ft 2 ply nettle twine
