BCUK member "Wenie" works here. http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/en/stfagans/ They run coracle building courses every summer. Nice work if you can get it. :)

Coracle-making in the boat house
Coracles are small boats consisting of tarred material over a light wooden or basketwork frame. They were traditionally used for fishing on several Welsh rivers and are still used today in some areas. Making these light crafts is an art in itself - come along to the Boathouse and see one taking shape!

Years ago I wrote an article on building a Mandan Indian Bull Boat for Survival and Outdoor Techniques.
The Coracle Centre at Cenarth Nr Cardigan has a Bull Boat and coracles from around the world.
I learned to paddle a coracle on the Teifi, in a trad Tiefi coracle, and they are easy to use , stable and great fun!
