Common Frog?

Found this guy peeking out from below a load of lumps of tree waiting to be split....

Think he's a common frog...but I'm used to being wrong

Can anyone confirm?

Looks like a frog to me. It would be more convincing if it had a string of onions and a beret, but it could be travelling in disguise to avoid arousing any suspicion.
Do the not so common ones have a posher accent?
