As HillBill said, it's not hard whatsoever to make a handle yourself. It's not like an axe helve, it's really just a nice smooth stick that's slightly thicker at one end than at the other. You could even make one with the head of your hawk and some sandpaper if you don't have a knife

I have one, it looks great, chops and bites better than an SFA, but she'll never learn to split. It's just not what hawks do. Good luck with that handle
