Well at last I've got close enough to stop working on my nemesis. I could probably spend another couple of hours sanding and fine tuning, but I cant stand it anymore. From now on I stick to hidden tangs. Anyway here it is. It has leather spacers and pear wood scales. The pear was given to me by bardster, so a big thanks to him. sealed with danish oil.

So now to sell it and buy some nice hidden tang gear.

I dont know it seemed to sting at every level. But I tell you it will be the last I try to do without powertools.

If I'm not mistaken it looks like you used a Frost's Laplander blank for that one. It's a very ergonomic knife.

Thanks pignut. I wouldn't say I was any good compared to some you get here and on BB. I've only made 3 hidden tangs before. My avatar was my first. I just really enjoyed making them. There was something relaxing in making the hidden tangs, where as this one just stressed me out all the way . Your shing was stunning though :You_Rock_

Here's the very first one I did. I started when I watched the sweden episode of RM bushcraft and I thought that looks easy. As usual I was wrong but it was fun to make. As you can see I dont sew very good so I riveted the sheaf.
