Cleaning antler?

Howdy folks,

Anyone got any tips about cleaning up a bit of antler? It's quite dirty right now (I don't think it's really been touched on since removing it from the deer except to cut it up) and I'm just not sure what to do with it. Scrubby brush and water? Is there anything I should use to treat it?

yep, brush and soapy water will work fine, but a lot of the dark colouring on an antler is ingrained dirt and if you scrub it alot it can become very pale..but I really like that!!
