Cheap candles??

I've managed to get hold of a swedish folding candle lantern-lovely bit of kit bit can anyone suggest where I can get some cheap candles from as the normal household cheapies are too narrow to be held by the spring clip in the base??

You know the way that fairy paper cake cases are pleated ? (cupcakes they're called now) There are similar ones made of tinfoil that fit inside candle sconces to make a too narrow candle fit snugly.
You can make them yourself from either tinfoil (if it doesn't need much adjusting) or better yet from patiently folding the thicker foil from the cases that mince or apple pies often come in.

If you can't find the candles to fit, it's worth the footering around with

Try Ikea for candles - I have yet to find cheaper

I dipped mine more in molten wax to thicken them for my Uco

Cheers guys. Ive been looking on ebay and its a nightmare trying to find the right size width wise- 2.3-2.5 cm. Wanted to try to keep to the size for the longer burn time-didnt realise it would be such a pia to find some!
