I always umm and ahh about getting one of these, I know it will be consistent but when i've had my blades sharpen in the past it never feels the same, I like hand sharpening mine, although having something to restore a chain might be useful...

I've been using one of these for about 5 years now and I can't praise it highly enough, very quick and easy to use.

You do still need to manage the height of you rakers with a file.

Cheers for the heads up Simon, just picked one up. :)

It cost me 10 quid to have a chain sharpened the other week so I reckon this is very good value.
