Ceramic knives?

I was in morrisons last night looking for one of the vegetable knifes with a sheath to keep in the camping kit.
Spotted a ceramic one for £4, so it had to be done i'm not expecting much at that price, but it was worth getting just to have a white, translucent blade!
I'll "road test" it and get back to you...

I got one in Lidl last year and still am amazed at its sharpness. Now waiting for them to come back in so I can get the chefs knife.

I've got one in my camping kit, used it last year all the time. Still so sharp. As mentioned don't drop it.

Being interested in knives I've had a couple of these. I've had nothing but disappointment from them.
They don't even come that sharp, and when you finally get a good edge of them with diamond stones, the edge chips.
