Cawl type spoon in birch.

Well I stumbled across a post about cawl spoons and though 'They look great'.

So, with a fresh bit green birch I set about it. Not quite happy with the shape and a bit thinning to do when it dries.

Such a change carving green wood instead of seasoned!!!

Thanks guys. I looked at pics and some had a straight front as well as the traditional round ones. I'll try again and see what I get.

A certain 'something' is always better than 'rustic':eek: Appreciated.

I don't have the smallest of hands! I think it would do for eating chunky cawl though.
