Catty Sheath/Ammo Pouch

After buying one of Fish's Black Ash cattys, i decided that a sheath was in order so i made one.


Then someone said "Does it come with an ammo pouch?"

So i made one of them




Then i had an idea of making this





Made from Chestnut waxed 3.2mm leather stitched with artificial sinew and went through 3 needles.

Thinking of making some more

i would do em separate tho save making left and right ones and could sell the pouch as small possibles pouce or flint steel and tinder pouch does it fit a air rifle pellet tin ??

As it happens it does. I make seperate catty sheaths aswell, and doing a left or right hander is easy

What do you think to Fish' cattys ? Did you get it for a bit of plinking or do you think you'll be confident enough to hunt with it ?

I think it's great bit of kit. I had to tighten the theraband a bit as my father in law pulled one out and now it's got some good range on it.

Not used it in anger as yet though
