For months now I've been after a draw knife from the 'boot and on Sunday I was rewarded with a very rusty C.Whitehose & Sons one, although skeptical at first, I managed to get a working edge and so far so good
If you have a draw knife, by virtue of logical thinking you have to make shave horse, it's just the way of things.
What do you need to make a shave horse? A shave horse. ****.
Still, undeterred I got out the B&D workmates, added ballast...
And away I went, I had two similar sized pieces of pine which I have now started to shave into legs.
Which is where the Beer:safety ratio became too great and I'll do some more tomorrow.
I'll keep you posted on how it turns out, it's probably going to take a while!
