There's been some grass mowing on the bank opposite the slipway where the main event takes place. Don't know if this is organiser/participants only but for anybody wanting a good view of the races then it may be worth the walk to get there. Access would be from the track beside the Taxi company offices on Station Approach road.

Apologies for the poor quality picture it was rather grim here early this morning.

Car Parking...
It's a Saturday and the beginning of the month so Tesco and Wilco's car parks will be bedlam.
However there is a cycle-track from the back of B&Q's car park and should be a little less busy.

notes:
  • the white stars are groups of Birch trees just in case you wanted to do a bit of foraging :)
  • if the weather goes sour look for a camo basha by the big fish where I'll be getting a brew on

Silly planning by someone:
[h=2]Welshpool coracle regatta[/h]Date:
Saturday 02 July 2016 (All day)

Welshpool was once an important coracling centre, home to many local characters renowned for their poaching skills and fine watermanship. As part of the Welshpool Canal and Food festival, a two part Regatta will be held at the town wharf in the centre of Welshpool
