Carbon Felt?

Santa brought me a Firebox nano for using when either walking or cycle touring. Unlike the 5" Folding firebox that I use for canoe camping, the nano doesn't have ash tray to protect the ground if using on grass.

I have looked on line for some carbon felt to stand the nano on but can't find anywhere that sells small quantities. I know that I could use tinfoil but was looking for something a bit more substantial and won't blow into the next county as soon as I take it out.

Anybody any suggestions or alternatives.

A soldering mat is a good option

Toolstation do a lightweight one as well as a heavyweight version which is higher rated

Dont bother with something as small as the nano, good ventilation underneath, not much heat output, unlikely you will need it, I probably singe the grass more with a remote gas stove, and it will quickly regrow. If you get the soldering mat you'll need to seal the ends if you cut it, and silicone works quite well.

Although the size shown is wrong he does say he can supply other sizes just contact him. It might be worth a quick note.
