Canvas pouch.

Made this pouch modeled on the escape ration type pouch mentioned in Lofty Wiseman's book. It's sized to fit a large mess tin with a home made lid :

It's hand sewn, using canvas and webbing taken from an old kit bag and lined with heavy duty P.V.C . The belt loops allow for high or low carry.

I think I might make a smaller one, this time using canvas and leather with a brass buckle closure. More akin to a possibles pouch type design.

Hand sewn? Eeeek that sounds like tired fingers but the end result is excellent.
